March 14 (Thurs) Go FishIN - Crew Captain Workshop, 9am-4pm at Eagle Creek Park. Crew captain workshops are for adults to learn about fish biology, Indiana's aquatic ecosystems, fish management, basic angling skills, and angler ethics. Participants will become Crew Captains and can then take this knowledge and skills to their classrooms and community. Crew Captains can also receive educational materials and fishing equipment to implement the program. No fishing experience is needed. All fishing equipment will be provided. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice by fishing at an area stream, pond, or lake. Children should be at least 6 years of age. No fishing experience is needed. All fishing equipment will be provided. The workshop is free but pre-registration is required. Workshops will be held the third Saturday of most months at various locations throughout Indiana.
